International Master in Management of European Projects
Methodology
The model combines in-person classes with online work methodology. The in-person classes are designed to maximise students’ participation. The student will have an agenda with contents of each of the classes so that he/she will be able to previously work through the material provided in the online platform. In this way the classes will deepen the previously studied areas and the student can participate and ask questions if needed. In these classes we will be do exercises, presentations, group work, etc. so that the students will acquire specific skills related to project preparation.
Several complex practical cases are scheduled to reflect main aspects of each of the modules. While these cases are discussed in class, the student must also work individually to be able to give their opinions and viewpoints in class.
There will be an examination after each module consisting of a practical case, which will demonstrate the knowledge acquired by students.
Once all modules are completed successfully, the student can choose from internship in a company or a final project. In the case of internship and once it is finished, the student must submit a final report summarising the activities undertaken in the company. If a student chooses to undertake a project he/she must submit it to his/her tutor to be evaluated by the teaching staff.
Throughout the course there will be different activities of free attendance, such as seminars and academic events, which will complement the training and acquired experience.
The final assessment of the course takes into consideration the academic merit achieved by the students in each of the tests, always under the criteria of teaching staff and tutors.
