Introduction

The first European Master in Leadership and Management of Child Care Centres was set up with the aim of training future professionals of children's education. We have carefully designed a multidisciplinary programme that includes business management and elements related to the area of education.

Faced with the challenge of linking such diverse elements within the same programme without losing sight of the unity and the practicality of it, we have looked for synergies between these different areas. Even if they are heterogeneous, they are still within the scope of the management of educational centres.

This programme will be established on a teaching methodology and work motivated by a teaching staff with extensive teaching experience and with great ability to communicate. Apart from the teachers there are other teams, such as the administrative, management, information design and stimulation teams, which also contribute their knowledge and experience in order to offer quality service to students.

Finally, the last and most important pillar on which to build the Master is the student. Therefore, through the selection process we want to achieve a rich and diverse group that will help create an ideal atmosphere for the students and teachers to insist on quality and to be active participating, learning and acquiring new skills.
