FESAN carries out the following actions to achieve its mission:

• Organisation of university and vocational teaching activities involved with, among others, strategic aspects of community development, putting into practice all kinds of educational activities: seminars, courses, sessions, conferences, roundtables, etc.
• Training workers to improve their skills and professional competence.
• Training, vocational guidance and promotion of employment for different groups.
• Preparation of legal, economic and sociological studies at regional, state and community levels.
• Creation and diffusion of audiovisual material, books, journals and collections.
• Granting of aids for teaching and educational activities at all levels of education, paying attention to the needs of general interest and promoting the social integration of less privileged groups.
