With the aim of providing better service to the needs identified in the field of training and management related to certain areas or groups within the structure of FESAN, a number of institutions most directly at your service have been created. Thus, we distinguish:

• Institute of New Technologies (Instituto de nuevas tecnologías INT): This institute was founded in July 2002 with the aim of training professionals in the field of new technologies to meet the demand for registered opportunities in the labour market, as well as to provide a comprehensive technical training in this area.
• Galician Institute for Care of the Elderly (Instituto Gallego de Atención al Mayor (IGAM): established in 2003 within the structure of FESAN to meet a variety of needs which are summarized in the provision of specialized attention to the elderly in order to achieve the highest possible level of welfare and also independence and social integration.
• Institute of Sociological Studies (Instituto de Estudios Sociológicos IES): This institute is established in order to stimulate and encourage the study and discussion of proposals to promote a better understanding of human reality in all its dimensions.
• Institute of Extracurricular Education in Galicia (Instituto de Formación Extraescolar de Galicia IFEGA): established to provide extracurricular education and consultancy services in education centres in the Autonomous Region of Galicia.
