History

Since its inception in 1997, FESAN has been joining forces of more than 150 workers to provide training and management services.

From its beginning training has been directed towards expanding sectors with large employment opportunities: care for the elderly and children. This interest later led in the creation and management of various old people’s homes and care centres for children.

Differentiation of groups requesting training joined this specialisation in areas of interest. In this way, a vocational training centre, a department of occupational education and another one aimed at business studies were created.

Training of senior university students stands out as we have much expectation on their work placement. Therefore, as the result of continuous contact with the corporate world (through the training and management of several services) we saw it necessary to have direct collaboration with universities to enhance and complement the received training. This was reinforced by the emergence of the European Space for Higher Education. Thus, through the implementation of strategic agreements with several European universities we aim to provide training linked to business needs and to convey all knowledge and the combination of human and social from the university world.
